Horses Sold at Horse Haven Farm
This beautiful Dutch gelding will be returning to the jumper world, as he was in Europe. His new owner, a junior, has already fallen madly in love with this sweet horse and he will carry her safely and competently into the jumper ring, with lots of ribbons likely in the future.
Giness has a new home in the province of Quebec as a very talented hunter. His new owner is delighted with him and hopes to immediately begin his show career. This wonderful horse has the temperament and athletic ability to excel in any discipline and will be a proud representative in the hunter world.
“Floressence” has found a new home in New Jersey with his owner Laurie Leifer; Laurie has competed up to the Grand Prix level in dressage and is looking forward to fulfilling many more dreams with her wonderful new partner; Floressence competed successfully at 3 rd level just prior to moving to New Jersey
Razzo is now living and training in Ottawa, Ontario with a junior/young rider; this horse would make any rider proud with his outstanding paces and kind, gentle nature; we look forward to seeing him out competing in the years to come. “Millgate Aryanna”
"Brownie" has found a new home in Long Island, New York with her owner Maria Staritsky-Lee; Maria started riding dressage a number of years ago as an adult amateur with her trainer Raul de Leon and is looking forward to a long and happy career with her very first horse; she says her first priority is the happiness, welfare and successful training of her lovely new mare, but someday she might like to compete as Brownie has been shown very successfully at training level scoring many times in the high 70's; as a five yr old, she is training at 2nd level and ready to move onwards and upwards with Maria at the helm. “Unico”
Unico had a great deal of success while at Horse Haven Farm. In his first season of showing at training level, he achieved many excellent scores including a 77.5% from British FEI judge James McKenzie. Based on this successful show season, Unico was invited to a symposium with Klaus Balkenhol and Debbie McDonald. He represented the ideal training and development of the 4 yr old horse. This resulted in some very positive comments from Herr Balkenhol and a mention of Unico in the popular magazine "Dressage Today".
Nikolas is a 15 year old Hannoverian mare shown Prix St George and Intermediare I by Lori Bell; currently she is leased to an F.E.I. Junior rider who is hoping to learn the finer points of dressage on this wonderful school master. Although the rider is very new to the world of dressage, her coach, Elaine Potter, is well versed in coaching and judging dressage. “Fashion”
Fashion is a lovely 16.2 hh bay gelding with four white socks. He was imported from Germany and is a Westphalian by Friedenstraum. He has been winning classes regularly on the 'A' circuit as a hunter for his new owner. The coach, Mark Hayes, is very pleased with his student's acquisition. “Lorentin’s
Stern”
This lovely, multi-talented Holsteiner gelding has a Grand Prix dressage father and fabulous jumper lines on his mother's side (Landgraff) and so is off to the eventing world with the folks at Dreamcrest Farm (Ian Roberts and Kelly Plitz) “Fallido”
Fallido is a Westphalian gelding by Fabriano with a temperament just like his sire's (wonderful) and the most adorable face imaginable. He is living in the U.S. and showing 'A' circuit hunter. “Fleurina”
This super Florestan mare is owned and shown by a junior rider, student of Olympian Tom Dvorak. She was shown in 2004 at second level and rarely placed lower than first, with marks often in the 70's. “Ravel”
This little cutie was imported from Belgium and is a 16.1 hh KWPN by Amsterdam. He is trained by adult amateur rider Linda Kaminsky and her coach Joanne Mintz. In 2004 he competed at 2nd level with consistent scores of high 60's and low 70's. Rarely did he leave a show without his Championship title. “Sundance Kid”
This stunning black, KWPN gelding with four white socks was nick named 'Romeo' because of his handsome looks and loving manner. He is currently owned by adult amateur Karyn Pope and is coached by Canadian Equestrian Team rider Nancy McLaughlin. “Odin”
Odin is a 16.2 hh KWPN gelding by Wagenaar. He is owned by Grand Prix rider, Rebecca Schoenhardt and recently attained a score of 69% in 2nd level in the open division at a National show. He is schooling third level at home and will be a very solid F.E.I. horse soon.
“Whitney”
Whitney is currently residing in British Columbia and being shown 3rd level very successfully by advanced rider Lorraine Chappel. She is a Westphalian mare, 16.2 hh by Weinzauber. Lorraine's coach, Olympic bronze medalist Gina Smith, has nothing but praise for this, our first imported horse sold here at Horse Haven Farm. |
